Home AI Nexus Backups

Application policy

Privacy policy

Effective October 31, 2026

Home AI Nexus Backups is a private application operated by its owner for the owner's recovery backups. This policy covers the backup application's Google access and this public information website.

Information the application accesses

The application requests the Google Drive drive.file scope. It uses that permission to create and manage backup files and folders created by the application or explicitly shared with it. It reads the connected account's identity information exposed by the Drive API to verify the intended backup account. It does not request broad Drive access or access to Gmail, contacts or calendars.

What is stored and why

Recovery archives are encrypted on the owner's server before upload. Google Drive receives ciphertext, along with operational metadata such as backup dates, artifact names, sizes, checksums and verification receipts. These records support upload verification and recovery. Encryption does not hide all file metadata from Google.

The server privately stores the OAuth client credential and refresh token needed for unattended access. These credentials are not published on this site or placed in backup download links. The backup decryption identity is protected separately; a passphrase-encrypted recovery copy may be included among the owner's encrypted recovery artifacts.

Use and disclosure

Google user data is used only to operate and verify the owner's backup workflow. It is not sold, used for advertising or transferred for unrelated purposes. The application does not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models. Encrypted files and their metadata are transmitted to Google Drive as the owner's chosen storage provider. Access remains subject to Google's services and the owner's Google Account settings.

Home AI Nexus Backups' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention, revocation and deletion

Uploaded backups remain in the owner's Drive until removed by the owner. This workflow does not automatically delete remote backups. Local recovery copies and verification records remain under the owner's server retention controls.

The owner can revoke the app's access through Google Account third-party connections. Revocation prevents further authorized API access but does not remove existing backups. The owner can remove those files in Drive and empty its Trash according to Google's normal deletion process. Locally stored credentials can be removed from the owner's protected credential store.

This information website

This site has no account login, upload form, advertising or application analytics. The hosting provider may process basic request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. This website cannot access the owner's Google Drive or administer the owner's server.

Contact and changes

For a privacy question or deletion request, contact the app owner through the developer support email displayed on the Google authorization screen. Material policy changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
